Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of all services provided by VORİNFO BİLİŞİM TEKNOLOJİLERİ ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (“Vorinfo”, “we”, “us”), including the mobile app, the website and the AI assistant connector. By using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply together with the Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, the Distance Contracts Regulation, the Subscription Contracts Regulation and other applicable Turkish legislation. How we process personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

1. Definitions

• Service Provider / Vorinfo: VORİNFO BİLİŞİM TEKNOLOJİLERİ ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (contact details in §17).
• User / you: a natural or legal person who registers for or uses the Service.
• Service: the Vorinfo mobile and web app, the vorinfo.com website and the pages on that domain, live presentation sessions and the Vorinfo connector (MCP server: https://mcp.vorinfo.com).
• Content: any quiz, info card, blog post, story, interactive presentation, playlist, research report, image or similar material created, uploaded or published on the Service.
• Participant: a person who takes an interactive presentation or joins a live session; an account is not required.
• AI Assistant: a third-party AI product of the user’s choice to which the user connects Vorinfo (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT).
• Connector: the Vorinfo MCP server and its tools, which let an AI Assistant access the Service with the user’s authorization.
• Subscription: a paid plan that provides access to Service features and quotas for a set period.

2. The Service

Vorinfo is a digital content platform that lets users create, publish, share and discover digital learning and game content. Its main features are:

• Creating and publishing quizzes, info cards, blog posts and stories
• Interactive presentations (Vorinfo Fast): slides, activities, playlists; private publishing and access requests
• Live presentation sessions: sessions that participants join with a code and without an account, and session reports
• Learning Break and game experiences
• AI-assisted question generation from PDFs
• AI assistant connection: creating content, publishing, managing playlists, saving research reports and supporting your studying (§8)

The scope of the Service may change over time; we may add, change or remove features. If we remove an essential feature of a paid plan, your rights under §7 remain.

3. Account

3.1 Age and Eligibility

• The Service is for users aged 13 and over. Children under 13 may not create an account.
• Users aged 13-18 are deemed to use the Service with the permission of a parent or guardian.
• Paid transactions require legal capacity or the consent of your legal representative.
• When using the Connector you must also meet the age and usage requirements of the AI Assistant you choose (§8.1).
• Live session participants can join without an account; the person or institution running the session is responsible for use appropriate to the participants’ age.

3.2 Sign-in and Account Security

• You sign in with your Google or Apple account; Vorinfo does not create or store passwords.
• You are responsible for the security of your linked Google/Apple account and of the AI Assistants you connect to your account, and for all activity under your account.
• Report any unauthorised access immediately to the address in §17.
• You confirm that your registration information is accurate and up to date.

3.3 One Account

Each person uses one personal account. Additional accounts opened to multiply quotas or free trials may be closed.

4. Content

4.1 Ownership and License

• The intellectual property rights in the content you create belong to you (or the rights holder).
• To the extent you store and publish content on the Service, you grant Vorinfo a limited, royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, format and display it according to the visibility you choose, and to provide the Service. The license ends when you delete the content and its trash period expires, without prejudice to legal retention obligations and to others’ own copies (e.g. aggregate data in a stored live session report).
• Vorinfo does not use your content to train AI models.

4.2 Visibility

You choose the visibility when you publish. Public content is visible to other users and on the internet; private presentations open only to people you approve. Research reports are visible to anyone with the link. Others can view, bookmark and add public content to their playlists.

4.3 Responsibility for Content

You are responsible for all content you publish and save, including content an AI Assistant generates on your instruction (§8.3). You confirm that your content complies with the law, third-party rights (copyright, trademarks, personality rights, personal data) and these Terms. You must hold the necessary rights or licenses for the images, videos and text you use.

4.4 Responsibilities of Presentation Creators

If you create interactive presentations or run live sessions, you see your participants’ results as described in the Privacy Policy. You agree to use this data only for the purpose of your presentation, to inform your participants where necessary, and to prefer pseudonymised transfer when sharing results with your AI Assistant. If you use the Service on behalf of an institution, the obligation to inform participants lies with your institution.

4.5 Reporting and Removal (Law No. 5651)

• You can report unlawful or infringing content with the in-app report tool or by writing to the address in §17.
• We review reports within 24 hours and remove content or restrict access where necessary.
• We may remove, hide or unpublish content that violates these Terms without prior notice.

5. Acceptable Use

The following are prohibited:

• Copying or reverse engineering the Service, or attempting to access its source code or unauthorised data
• Bulk downloading or scraping content, or collecting it with automated tools (including the Connector) beyond personal use
• Attempting to exceed or bypass quotas, rate limits, publishing allowances, private presentation approvals or payment controls
• Spam, phishing, malware; inserting code or links that harm the Service or others
• Harassment, threats, discrimination, hate speech; child exploitation; sexually explicit content; promoting violence or illegal activity
• Copyright infringement, impersonation, misleading or fraudulent content
• Unlawfully publishing other people’s personal data; needlessly writing information that identifies third parties (name, school, health condition, etc.) into memory records or content
• Attacking the Service’s security, DDoS, exploiting vulnerabilities without permission (please report vulnerabilities to the address in §17)

In case of a violation we may remove content, restrict access to a feature or to the Connector, or suspend or close the account (§14).

6. Plans, Quotas and Payment

6.1 Plans

• Free, Plus, Pro and Enterprise plans are offered at the prices and quotas shown in the Service. Quotas such as the publishing allowance are counted per plan period; current quotas can be seen in the app and through the assistant.
• Every new user receives a one-time 14-day free Plus trial; no card is required, and the account moves to the Free plan at the end of the trial.
• All prices include VAT.

6.2 Payment and Invoicing

• Payments are taken through iyzico’s PCI DSS compliant infrastructure. Vorinfo does not store full card numbers, CVV codes or expiry dates; for auto-renewal your card is tokenised with iyzico and can be removed on the Subscription screen.
• The payment step displays the notice “Ödeme yükümlülüğü doğurur” (“This creates a payment obligation”). After payment an e-Archive invoice is issued and emailed to you.

6.3 Auto-Renewal and Cancellation

• Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the current price at the end of each period. You can turn off auto-renewal or cancel at any time, without giving a reason, on the Subscription screen; the service continues until the end of the current period, after which the account moves to the Free plan.
• The renewal date and status are always shown on the Subscription screen.

7. Right of Withdrawal and Refunds

• Under Article 15/1-(ğ) of the Distance Contracts Regulation, the right of withdrawal generally does not apply to digital services performed instantly online once performance has begun with your explicit consent.
• Nevertheless, Vorinfo offers a 14-day unconditional refund guarantee: within 14 days of purchase you can request a full refund without giving a reason, even if you have used the service.
• If the service cannot be provided for reasons attributable to us, a pro-rata refund is made for the affected period.

8. AI Assistant Connections

8.1 Connection and Third-Party Assistants

• You can connect Vorinfo to an AI Assistant that supports connectors using the address https://mcp.vorinfo.com. Authentication uses OAuth 2.0; the assistant provider never sees your Vorinfo sign-in credentials.
• The AI Assistant is not a Vorinfo product; it is subject to its provider’s own terms, privacy policy, age limits and fees. Using the Connector depends on the assistant provider supporting connectors and on your right to use that assistant.
• Vorinfo has no control over, and is not responsible for, the availability, behaviour or data practices of the assistant provider’s service.
• You can remove the connection at any time in your assistant’s settings.

8.2 You Are Responsible for Your Instructions

• Through the Connector, the assistant acts with your account and on your behalf. The instructions you give your assistant, and the actions taken in Vorinfo as a result (creating, editing, publishing, unpublishing and deleting content; changes to playlists and memory), are your actions.
• Before actions that are hard to reverse, such as publishing, unpublishing and deleting, the assistant is expected to ask for your explicit confirmation; pressing the Publish button in a Vorinfo window is also explicit confirmation. Check the content and visibility before confirming.
• Do not share your assistant access with others; actions arising from shared assistant sessions are also attributed to your account.

8.3 Assistant Output

• Text, questions, answer keys, explanations, reports and suggestions produced by the assistant are AI output; they may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or misleading. Vorinfo does not produce this output and does not guarantee its accuracy.
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying output before you publish it or share it with others (e.g. your participants). Published output is your content, with all the obligations in §4.
• You must ensure that output does not infringe third-party rights and that the images you use come from approved sources. The Connector accepts image addresses only from approved sources (Unsplash, Pexels, Pixabay, Wikimedia Commons and publicly shared Google Drive files); complying with the image’s license terms is your responsibility.
• Explanations and suggestions the assistant offers while you study are educational support; they are not professional, medical, legal or financial advice.

8.4 Quotas and Limits

• Content published through the Connector counts against the same quota as content published in the app. When the quota is used up, new publishing becomes possible in the next period or after upgrading the plan.
• To keep the Service healthy, the Connector applies technical limits and rate limits, such as limits on tool calls, memory writes, content size, and the number of slides and images. Requests exceeding these limits may be rejected.
• Connector tools, tool descriptions and limits may change over time; you may need to refresh the connector to keep your assistant’s tool list up to date.

8.5 Acceptable Use of the Connector

In addition to §5, you may not use the Connector to:

• Bulk collect, copy or republish other users’ content in your own product
• Offer the Connector as an intermediary to a service, an automation or other people (the connection is for your personal account)
• Direct the assistant, the tool descriptions or the Vorinfo windows so as to bypass quotas, confirmation steps or security controls
• Have other people’s personal data or sensitive information written into memory records
• Send requests that overload the Connector or impair the Service’s availability for others

If these rules are violated, we may revoke your connection authorizations or restrict your Connector access.

8.6 Memory Records

Playlist memory and study memory help your assistant keep context between conversations and are visible only to you. You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of what is written to memory; you can ask your assistant to change, undo or delete a record.

9. Intellectual Property

• The Vorinfo software, design, logo, the “Vorinfo” trademark, the Connector, tool descriptions, windows and technical infrastructure belong to Vorinfo. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
• If you believe your trademark or copyright has been infringed, write to the address in §17; notices are assessed under Turkish Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works and related legislation.
• We may use feedback you give about the Service to improve it, without any obligation to you.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service works together with third-party services such as iyzico (payments), Parasüt (e-invoicing), Supabase and Google Cloud (infrastructure), Google and Apple (sign-in), Google AdMob (rewarded ads, Android only), YouTube and Google Drive (video embedding), and with the AI Assistants you connect. These services are subject to their own terms. Our liability for damage arising from third-party services is limited to the extent permitted by law.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service, including the Connector, is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no express or implied warranty that it will operate without interruption or error or be fit for a particular purpose, that AI output will be accurate, or that it will always be compatible with a particular AI Assistant. The Service may be temporarily unavailable during planned maintenance and updates.

12. Limitation of Liability

• Vorinfo’s total liability under these Terms is limited to the total amount the user paid to Vorinfo in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
• We are not liable for loss of profit, reputation, data or business, or for indirect, incidental, special or punitive damages. We recommend keeping a copy of important content using Export My Data.
• Unless Vorinfo is itself at fault, we are not liable for damage arising from the AI Assistant’s behaviour or output or from actions it takes on your instruction.
• This section does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, or consumer rights under Law No. 6502 and other mandatory legislation.

13. Indemnity

You agree to cover reasonable losses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from third-party claims against Vorinfo caused by your violation of these Terms or the law. This does not limit the mandatory rights you have as a consumer.

14. Suspension and Termination

14.1 By You

You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. A 7-day cancellation period applies after the request; during it you can cancel the request by signing in again. Before deleting, you can download your data via Settings → Export My Data. When the account is deleted, Connector authorizations also become invalid.

14.2 By Vorinfo

• If you violate these Terms, use the Service unlawfully, infringe others’ rights or endanger the security of the Service, we may suspend or terminate your account, specific features or your Connector access. Where circumstances allow, we give prior notice and state the reason.
• After termination, you have 30 days to access and export your content, except unlawful content.
• After that period, data is deleted or anonymised in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

15. Changes

• We may update these Terms. The current version is always published on this page.
• Changes that significantly affect your rights are announced by email and/or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
• Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, you can cancel your subscription and delete your account.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

• These Terms are governed by Turkish law.
• For consumer disputes, Consumer Arbitration Committees have jurisdiction within the monetary limits and Consumer Courts above them; consumers may also apply to the authorities at their place of residence.
• For non-consumer disputes, the Istanbul Anatolian Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction; under Law No. 6325, mediation is a precondition for filing commercial lawsuits.
• Consumers resident in the EU retain the rights granted by the mandatory consumer protection rules of their country.

16.1 Other Provisions

• Force majeure: in circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, war, epidemics, legal changes, or infrastructure or third-party service outages, obligations are suspended for as long as the cause continues.
• Assignment: you may not assign your account or your rights under these Terms. Vorinfo may assign these Terms to an acquiring party in a merger or acquisition.
• Severability: the invalidity of one provision does not affect the others.
• Entire agreement: these Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the Preliminary Information Form and the Distance Sales Agreement, form the entire agreement between the parties.
• Language: the Turkish version of these Terms is at https://vorinfo.com/terms; in case of any discrepancy, the Turkish version prevails.
